In recent weeks, we have been updating our oldest test rigs, built from 2010 onwards, to the latest technological level. These upgrades will improve not only our measuring capabilities and software control, but also reduce our electrical needs. This increased efficiency is due on the one hand to optimized pipe routing and, on the other, to the introduction of variable speed auxiliary drives for the pumps and coolers, which allows only the actually required power to be consumed. Depending on operating conditions, a dual-station test rig can save up to 1,5 kW – which corresponds to 1000 kWh per month during continuous use. This is one more contribution we make towards reducing emissions.
