Lubricants

Our lubricant test rig EELPAX-130-H is based on our standard bearing test rigs. Featuring a heated housing, heated oil circulation system and the option for minimal oil flow, this test rig is capable of applying all of the conditions laid out in DIN 51819, including those for grease lubrication up to 200°C. For this type of test, the bearings are run under harsh mixed friction conditions for a defined period of time, after which the wear properties of the lubricant are evaluated through a gravimetric measurement.

As with all of our test rigs, time-dependent rotational speeds, load, and temperature are available. This allows for lubricants to be tested under application-specific conditions that go beyond what is in the standard.
