Testing

The true quality of a product becomes apparent on the test rig. Bearings in particular can generally be tested at a reasonable cost and it can therefore be recommended that testing be performed both during the approval process and as a regular component of purchasing. Testing is most relevant during the initial approval process and is rarely destructive. Here, the aim is primarily to investigate the steady-state temperatures, seals, efficiency, and, if relevant, noise emissions.
For gearboxes, one must keep in mind that they have highly individualized needs for testing due to the wide variety of sizes, ratios, and shaft arrangements, among other factors. Our testing capabilities allow us to react quickly to such requirements and realise appropriate test setups.
