History

Elgeti Engineering GmbH was founded on November 3rd, 2009, with Hagen Elgeti as the managing director and only shareholder. The company immediately moved into offices on the Philipsstraße in Aachen and opened for business. In the same year, it also started to develop the first generation of bearing test rigs.

The first test rigs were finished in September 2010 and the company has offered lifetime testing of bearings up to an outer diameter of 320 mm ever since.

In order to further develop our collaboration with industrial companies and technical universities, Elgeti Engineering became a member of the Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik FVA in August 2012

In September 2012, Elgeti Engineering moved into larger facilities on Liebigstraße in Aachen.
